Intro to Coaching

Zone 5 Sports Council

Intro to Coaching was designed for people who would like to coach younger children however are not sure where to start.  The program focuses on three major areas of coaching:  The role of the coach, teaching skills and planning a practice.  The program is an excellent way to help the new coach get a feel of teaching young athletes the joy of sport.  Pending your group, the cost of the course varies from free to <$5 per person.   Workbooks $5.00 ea.
The program is 3 hours and is an excellent source of leadership skills and overall knowledge of guiding children through the exciting world of sport.
